COVID-19 Updates

Dear Pet Parents,

Like all of you, we are actively monitoring the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation in this great little country of ours.  We are standing with you in these trying times and will do all we can to make sure your four legged family members have full bellies of food.

We will keep this page as up to date as possible, with what we know.

As you will be aware, New Zealand is moving to a Level 4 Alert Level from Wednesday at midnight.  This means we are moving to a lockdown of all businesses except those classified as essential services.  Currently, we have been advised that pet food is an essential service.  

This means that we will continue to be able to deliver products to you all across New Zealand.


Food Stock

Currently, we have enough CPK Food to supply our customers for 16 to 20 weeks, that's including the big jump in customers we have had in the last few days.  CPK food is made in New Zealand and our manufacturing partner has indicated they are fine to continue to keep supplying beyond our existing supply.

There is no need to buy extra bags of food, we have stock now and we will have stock in 3 weeks time.  Maybe add in an extra bag of treats for your furry friend :)



We send everything from our own warehouse, we do not use a 3rd Party Logistics provider.  We are based in Henderson, Auckland and our amazing warehouse team all lives within 8-10mins drive of this location.  They do not stop until every order has been packed.

We are following New Zealand Ministry of Health guidance to keep our team members safe.   


Courier Delivery

All orders that come in before 4pm will be packed and picked up by our courier partner, CourierPost.  We will update you if this changes, but as this is a rapidly evolving situation we appreciate your patience if the couriers are delayed.

CourierPost has implemented temporary changes to its delivery process to limit close physical contact.

NZ Post couriers will knock on the door as usual and step back two metres (or as far back as safe). They will wait for someone to come to the door and greet them as usual. If no one comes to the door, the courier will follow the standard process which is to leave the item in a safe place or leave a card to call and return to the depot if no safe place is available. The World Health Organisation has advised that the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low and the risk of catching the virus that causes COVID-19 from a package that has been moved, travelled, and exposed to different conditions and temperature is also low.

Take care of yourself, your loved ones and of course your pets.  They are amazing companions in times like this, they can sense when everyone is stressed out (if they are like Cooper, who is nudging his nose onto my lap as I type this).
